Beeswax is another great ingredient to consider when it comes to making homemade cleaning products and recipes for polishing wooden furniture. I used it on the wood of a mirror that was more than 50 years old and on a pedal sewing machine that was more than 100 years old, and the wood shone and looked great. Orange essential oil prevents wood from drying out, counteracts the smell of vinegar and adds a fresh scent to natural wood polish.
If you're looking for a homemade furniture polish that polishes while adding a natural protective layer to the wood surface, using jojoba oil is the best option.
